Richard Curtis

Richard trained at Westminster College in London, then mastered his trade by working in the West End of London at various hotels and restaurants. After a move to the East Midlands he was appointed Head Chef and Executive Chef for differing hotels in and around the area.
With a wish to “give something back” he then moved into education and has been a Chef Lecturer at Northampton College for the past twenty five years, where he has encouraged local students, as well as helping local businesses.

Richard has also appeared on thirty local television programmes and is a regular contributor to local radio. At Ryton Gardens near Coventry Richard has run food related short courses with an emphasis on local and organic foods. Richard taught the Northampton Saints Squad as a team building exercise on several occasions. He has also taken part in local food demonstrations, organised local competitions and is on the judging panel of the Northamptonshire Food & Drinks Awards.
“I am passionate about locally produced food and this is reflected in the food that I like to cook.
