Special Event on Saturday 6th May
This will be a 2 hour, one off course that will run at Althorp’s Food Festival on Saturday 6th May (times to be released closer to the day).
The course is open to to children from 8 years old, but under 12′s will need to be accompanied by an adult.
During the 2 hours students will be preparing homemade herb sausages and learning what goes into a quality sausage.
- Correct cuts of pork.
- Rusk and water ratios.
- Fat content.
- Natural casings.
- Herbs and seasons.
Students will get to try their sausages at the end of the class.
£60 Parent and child (8-12 years)
£40 Child (12-17 years) working in pairs
Maximum of 12 students.
Free admission to the Food Festival is included.
